St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Metropolis, is a Christ centered, mission driven, traditionally grounded, congregationally focused, faith community of the North American Lutheran Church (NALC). We have ministered in the Metropolis community in Massac County since 1886. We began as St Paul’s Union Evangelical Lutheran Church and organized as St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Metropolis, in 1912.
